School is Open

A Poem by Mr. Hill

School is open

But you can’t go there

You stay at home and schedule your time

When you don’t turn in your assignment

You will be marked absent

I know it is hard on your own

But it will be fine

If you schedule your time

Five periods a day

Did you read that?

Five periods a day

Five periods a day

A regular school day

Five days a week

Math, science, English and history

Please learn them or life will be a mystery

School is open

But you can’t go there

You stay at home and schedule your time

Math for one hour

English for one hour

Science for one hour

History for one hour

At least

Another hour for PE or Spanish or whatever class you may have

Five hours a day

School is open

School has begun

School is at home, for now

So, schedule your time

Five periods a day

School is open

Don’t be absent, please
